Dr Stefan Beyer

Stefan Beyer holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Manchester. He has researched distributed systems since 2004 (pre-Bitcoin) and is specialized in blockchain technology at the protocol and application level. He is particularly knowledgable in cybersecurity related to blockchain application.

He is a member of the European Union (EU) Blockchain Observatory and Forum Policy and Framework Conditions Working Group, working on blockchain innovation and the development of the blockchain ecosystem within the EU. He advises and consults to numerous blockchain and DLT projects throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
