A. Fattah Yatim

Mr Yatim provides consulting and lectures on Information Security Management (ISO/IEC 27001) and Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301). He conducts lectures and workshops on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies. He appears in various conferences and platforms as a speaker or panelist with my segment focusing on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies and/or Information Security.

He is the Chairman of Malaysia's National Standards Technical Committee on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (codenamed TC/G/15), Department of Standards Malaysia. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Malaysia's Industry Standards Committee for IT, Communications and Multimedia (codenamed ISC/G), Department of Standards Malaysia. TC/G/15 is one of 12 Technical Committees under ISC/G.

ISC/G and TC/G/15 committees comprise representatives from various professional bodies, government and ICT non-government organisations and academia:

• ISC/G sets policy and direction for adoption of ICT standards (mainly from ISO/IEC) and development of ICT standards in Malaysia. This mirrors ISO/IEC JTC1.
• TC/G/15 mirrors ISO/TC 307 and participates at the ISO level in developing standards on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies.

He is a Professional Member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation-Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) and a Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).
